Note

WOW!  I never thought that 24 would do anything more shocking than killing off President Palmer to start the season, but I was completely wrong.  The final moments of tonight’s two-hour special were chilling.  It was like the producers wanted to see how many times they could have me screaming at my television set. The last ticks of the silent clock was heartbreaking and terrifying at the same time.

I don’t want to have to wait till next week!

I can't believe that Edgar is gone!

And I'm slightly disturbed by how disturbed I am over the death of a FICTIONAL character!

Ya' know what's disturbing Sarah and Anthony!? That no matter how many times or how hard I try, I CANNOT get into or like this show. What is WRONG with me, y'all?

Yeah - what is wrong with you??

Seriously though, it may be because I watched it from the very beginning. The first season Jeff and I watched over the course of a couple of days. We've been hooked ever since:-)

I even saw the little orange man (my nickname for Kiefer) in the flesh when he was here in D.C. filming "The Sentinel" last summer. I was THIS close to the guy at Cap Grille...should've walked up and asked him, "What is it about your show that I just don't get? Can you please explain to me what the big flippin' deal is with your show?"

I disagree with you Sarah. I didn't get into the show until halfway through the first season. I know several people who have got into it in later seasons. I would guess LAQ that it's just not your genre. Some people I would argue that it's too intense, too well-done, etc. Or you could have a problem like Sheryl which is that the episodes are all open-ended, so you'll get set-ups in one episode and then pay-offs 14 later.
