TV Watch

Tonight, PBS is broadcasting the musical, The Light in the Piazza. I haven't seen it, but I've heard the score and it's sumptuous. Definitely check it out if you get the opportunity. Record Windfall and check it out later. This is one of the summer's must-sees.

"Sumptuous"!?

SUMPTUOUS!?!?!

Have I told you about my list of "Forbidden Words"? That "S" word is on it...as well as other nasty words like moist, tender, and morsel. There are more.

Do not ever use any of those words around me or you will PAAAAAAY.

I agree. The ambiguity was part of what made it work. It was so ferocious in its point though. I don't know about whether it was right or not. I do think it probably was, because if they loved one another and they were willing to take care of each other, then why not? It's also interesting, because I have a friend whose sister apparently has a very similiar condition to Clara. For a while her parents thought she was going to get married, so they were just planning on letting them live with them and such. So I kind of am curious as to what his reaction would be. But yeah, I loved it and I was moved to tears myself.
