Emmy Nominee Al Sharpton?
I don’t know if this is the kind of idea that’s so bonkers that it’s going to be great or horrible. Nevertheless, from today’s Variety:Al Sharpton is in talks to topline his own sitcom for CBS. Paramount
Network Television would produce the project, a family comedy dubbed
"Al in the Family" in which Sharpton would play off his
larger-than-life personality. Eye is expected to make a script
commitment to the half-hour.
